Los Angeles, Calif. – LA Rams quarterback Nick Foles was reportedly elated over the news that the Rams had successfully traded several draft picks to move up to the first pick in the 2016 NFL, as he assumed the team would likely pick one of several highly touted offensive linemen to help his development as the team’s starting quarterback.
Foles said a polished, blue chip tackle will be exactly what the Rams need going into the 2016-2017 season with him leading the squad as the starting quarterback.
“Just what I need. Can you imagine me, Nick Foles, one of the top 5 quarterbacks in the league being protected by either Laremy Tunsill or Ronnie Stanley? I didn’t think I could be much better than my stellar performance last year, but we’ll be unstoppable this season,” Foles noted.
Despite head coach Jeff Fisher not returning any of his phone calls, Foles assured himself that his coach was likely busy trying to decide which linemen would better fit the Nick Foles system.
“I’m a dynamic guy. It’s a tough decision to make, I’m sure.”
At press time, Rams front office officials warned Carson Wentz to not give his cell phone number to Foles.
